Very nice walking path and duck pond. Lots of parking all around the park. Dog park is awesome too.
Nice, lots of space. You can walk, run, rollerblade, picnic etc. Nice for kids and adults. We also do some foraging walks there! If you like to be outside, and you can't get away to a more wild place, this is a good substitute ☺
National Alliance for brain injuries hosted a walk here and we supported my buddy, our group or team name was the support group strollers and I know that that group raised over 2500 days before.
Absolutely love this place. The kids can get a nice long bike ride through a forest type setting. residential areas are mostly hidden away from view, which is nice. You can see a couple small ponds/creaks/waterfall, deer, dogs, geese, and ducks along the trails sometimes. There are also a few playgrounds along this long path, which is a great break for kids and parents. The only reason for the 4 rating is that the trails can get packed and it doesn't look like path updates have been a priority... but really minor gripe.
I bring the kids I work with her and they love it. It's not parent friendly thou to many blind spots for my liking, but if your up and about with the children that won't be an issue. Also, you can do a little fishing in the river
I know this is a review for the park so I'll say there's a lot of nice loops. If you want to hike with your dog off leash there's some little trousers a cool stream you can play around in. I always like to bring my dog down by the stream and he likes to jump in and jump out and stuff
